Reese and the Sky will continue the preseason on Tuesday, facing the 2024 runners-up Minnesota Lynx. Barring a major change, Reese is still expected to play in the first game of 2025 at Wintrust Arena.

Reese did a lot as a rookie, but as the Sky look to establish winning pillars for their future, they see a more versatile future for their star.

The Sky also got strong contributions from Kia Nurse, who added 11 points, and Hailey Van Lith, who recorded seven points, five assists, and three rebounds. However, one of the tough realities of preseason basketball—especially with a roster of 18 players—is making cuts.
