Spain's antitrust regulator said on Tuesday it was expanding its investigation into possible anti-competitive behaviour by Apple for allegedly imposing unequal commercial conditions on developers of mobile applications sold at its app marketplace.

The CNMC’s investigation is assessing price points the iPhone maker sets for apps and in-app purchases in addition to Apple’s business terms for developers.

Spain's competition watchdog said Tuesday that it had broadened a probe opened last year into the conditions Apple imposes on developers of mobile applications sold on its App Store.
