Former Tottenham Hotspur and Everton midfielder Dele Alli has signed an 18-month deal with promoted Serie A side Como, with an option to extend for an additional year.

Dele Alli will aim to get his football career back on track in Italy after signing an 18-month deal with Como. The former Tottenham midfielder has not played competitively since the 2023 after a lengthy lay-off due to injury, addiction and mental health problems, but will link up with the Serie A club managed by Cesc Fabregas.

Dele Alli is set to make a sensational return to football – just under two years after the former Tottenham and England star’s last match.

Dele Alli signed for ambitious Como on Sunday as the former England international makes a comeback after being released by Everton at the end of last season.

Dele Alli joined Serie A struggler Como on Sunday in the latest attempt to revive his career. Alli has signed an 18-month contract, with an option to extend for an additional 12 months, and the 28-year-old could make his debut against Udinese on Monday.

Dele has not played professionally since appearing for Besiktas on loan in February 2023, but will now have the chance to shine with the Serie A side.
