On Tuesday, Kimberley Horen, 55, of Eastpointe, pleaded guilty to misdemeanor assault and battery, according to the Macomb County Prosecutor's Office. Horen was initially charged in May.
Kimberley Horen, 55, of Eastpointe, pleaded guilty in the 38th District Court to a count of assault and battery, a 93-day misdemeanor, Macomb County Prosecutor Peter Lucido said Wednesday in a statement. She is scheduled to be sentenced on Sept. 16, according to court records.
The Eastpointe City Council voted unanimously not to renew its contract with Northville based McKenna & Associates and to explore the idea of hiring a full-time city planner instead.
