The opener of a three-game series between the Cleveland Guardians and Washington Nationals has been postponed because of rain.

With rain coming down and the dark clouds hovering over Nationals Park on Monday night, the series opener between the Guardians and the Nats was postponed after being in a pregame rain delay for over an hour.

Cleveland’s game at Progressive Field against the Red Sox on April 25 was rained out and resulted in a doubleheader the next day. The April 29 game against Minnesota was delayed three hours and 10 minutes at the start, and ended at 11:37 p.m.
