After a weeks-long dry spell, Northern California is in the path of an atmospheric ready to drop lots of rain and snow on Friday and into Wednesday.

Starting Friday and continuing through Wednesday an atmospheric river will bring large amounts of rain and snow to Northern California. With more than half a foot of rain forecasted to fall in the foothills much of Northern California has been placed under a flood watch.
