Ohio State Buckeyes' head coach discussed the team's mindset heading to their matchup against the Texas Longhorns in the Cotton Bowl.

Ryan Day stood in Ohio State’s team room Friday as he fielded questions for a virtual pre-Cotton Bowl press conference. The process was nothing new for the sixth-year coach. A moderator introduced reporters who then asked questions previewing Ohio State’s upcoming matchup with Texas in the College Football Playoff semifinals.

Coach Ryan Day said the expanded College Football Playoff has given Ohio State the chance "to peak" ahead of the Goodyear Cotton Bowl Classic against Texas on Jan. 10, with a trip to the national championship on the line.
