Tottenham have identified a star midfielder as their priority signing after wrapping up deals for Gibbs-White Kudus.
Following their £55m move for West Ham's Mohammed Kudus, Spurs are now close to securing a deal for Gibbs-White, with the Nottingham Forest midfielder set to have a medical today.
The defender's future has been cause for concern among Spurs fans, but having returned to training, could he be sticking around after all?
The North Londoners completed the signing of Mohammed Kudus from West Ham United on Thursday, and on the same day, Spurs agreed to trigger Morgan Gibbs White’s release clause. The English midfielder is expected to undergo a medical at Tottenham on Friday before completing his move from Nottingham Forest.
The England international scored seven goals and added eight assists in 34 Premier League games last season, helping Forest qualify for the Europa Conference League. Gibbs-White is expected to complete his move to Tottenham today. The midfielder's deal at the City Ground runs to 2027.
