ABC's long-running reality dating series won't be returning for season 22 in Summer 2025, following Grant Ellis' current season of The Bachelor, The Hollywood Reporter has learned. It wasn't immediately clear ABC's reason for the pause or when the series would return.

“The Bachelorette ” is taking a break this year, TheWrap has learned. ABC’s long-running reality dating show will skip it’s usual production cycle, which means Season 22 won’t be premiering in the show’s normal July slot. Don’t worry though, “The Bachelorette” hasn’t been canceled, though as of this writing the return date hasn’t been set.

While the network hasn’t canceled the reality show and it may be back on air some time in the future, Us understands it is unlikely The Bachelorette will return in 2025 – but the option hasn’t yet been ruled out. The reason for the show’s hiatus is unclear.
