When Klay Thompson decided last season to sign with the Dallas Mavericks, he was expecting to play in a team that was ready to take the next step after reaching the NBA Finals the previous year. Fast-forward to today, and the Mavs are nowhere near that, with injuries being a big reason.

Thompson chipped in a team-high 19 points (6-17 FG, 6-16 3Pt, 1-1 FT), three rebounds and one assist over 31 minutes off the bench during Wednesday's 123-114 loss to the Suns.
