It was closer than expected, but Buffalo got it done. James Cook had a huge game for the Bills, rushing 16 times for 117 yards and two scores. Buffalo improved to 11-4 with the win and moved one step closer to clinching a playoff spot. All the Bills need now is for the Texans OR Colts to lose OR tie their games.
NFL Week 16 starts with a fantastic game for Prime Video. The NFC West lead is at stake when the Los Angeles Rams visit the Seattle Seahawks. FOX Sports is touting its doubleheader on Saturday as one of the best,
The NFL is never predictable, but Week 16 underscored just how strange the season has been — and that’s before we get to the bonkers ending in Detroit. The Kansas City Chiefs played a game irrelevant to the standings and ended Sunday with one more victory than the New Orleans Saints.
The 27-year-old Dowdle gets a $1 million bonus for reaching 1,350 scrimmage yards and is currently at 1,237. The model forecasts him for a combined 88 scrimmage yards (62 rushing) and 0.63 TDs between rushing and receiving. Dowdle isn't a huge factor in the pass game, as his lone receiving score came Week 6 vs. Dallas.
This is probably one of the least interesting games of Week 16. The Saints are now 4-10 after playing spoiler the past two weeks against division rivals. The Jets, sitting at 3-11, still have a shot the top pick in the 2026 NFL Draft. Finally, I’ll be picking a home team to win. I’m going with New Orleans.
Quinshon Judkins suffered the biggest injury of the week in the second quarter of the Cleveland Browns' matchup with the Buffalo Bills. Judkins was blown up on a screen pass by Bills linebacker Matt Milano and immediately showed visible signs of pain before being carted off the field.
That includes two marquee games that will hit us before Sunday. The Los Angeles Rams and Seattle Seahawks play what could be an NFC West title game when the two meet on Thursday Night Football. The Green Bay Packers look to shake off injuries to Micah Parsons and Christian Watson by sweeping their season series with the Chicago Bears on Saturday.
One of the biggest winners of the double update is Christian McCaffrey, who has been stuck a point below his launch rating since Week 12, but managed to gain three points in Week 16. His new OVR of 96 isn't a career high for the former 99 Club member, but it's the best rating he's been able to achieve all season long.
