A serial convicted cop impersonator from Texas was busted after authorities said he tried to pull over undercover deputies while sporting a fake uniform, ballistic vest and an official-looking badge.

A St. Clair County man is behind bars and under investigation for impersonating a police officer. Joel A. Tucker, 39, of Ragland, is jailed on a probation violation warrant, said Sheriff Billy Murray.
