Monsoon moisture will begin lifting north on Tuesday afternoon, bringing a chance for rain and storms across the Denver metro area by mid- to late afternoon.

DENVER (KDVR) — More rain and thunderstorms are in Denver’s weather forecast through the workweek ahead of a hot weekend. Rain and thunderstorms will linger Tuesday night. Low temperatures will fall to the mid-60s, which is a few degrees above normal for this time of year.

It will be another hot afternoon, but we'll see a nice cool down with the storms and showers that develop Tuesday afternoon. The storms could produce some heavy rain, small hail and gusty winds.
