JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — A woman was shot and killed at a block party on Jacksonville's Mid-Westside Friday night, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office. At approximately 9:30 p.m., JSO Sgt. Steve Rudlaff said a ShotSpotter activation went out" in the 1100 block of Grothe Street.

A judge in Onslow County has sentenced a former bank executive to more then a year and a half in prison after being found guilty of indecent liberties with a child, according to court documents.
