Everyone other than me seems to have a take on whether cornerback Jaire Alexander will be back with the Green Bay Packers. I’m just not sold on either side of the debate. Yes, the fact that Alexander has only played 34 games over the last four seasons — about half of the games available — is less than ideal.

The oft-injured veteran had a procedure done on his knee Tuesday. Alexander has two years remaining on a four-year, $84 million extension he signed in 2022.

Packers coach Matt LaFleur said veteran cornerback Jaire Alexander had knee surgery and will not play for the Packers the rest of this season.
