The Buffalo Bills must trim the active roster down to 53 players prior to the NFL deadline set for August 26 at 4 p.m. ET, and the purge has already started

Front offices and coaching staffs will cut rosters down from 90 to 53 players. Most will be waived and others could come off the roster via injury designations and other routes.
