More than 300 Rite Aid employees will be laid off in Maryland as the company ceases operations at its distribution center in Harford County, according to a notice from the drugstore chain.

After announcing that it would be entering bankruptcy, Rite Aid is now slated to begin a process of auctioning off most of its locations.
