A snowstorm is coming, but its impacts to the East Coast still remain highly uncertain just a few days before the event.
At 12:03 p.m. on Tuesday, the National Weather Service issued an updated winter storm warning in effect until Thursday at 10 a.m. for Eastern Curry County and Josephine County.
On Tuesday at 2:28 p.m. EST an updated winter storm warning was issued by the National Weather Service valid for Wednesday between 1 a.m. EST and 10 p.m. EST for Emmet, Cheboygan, Presque Isle, Montmorency and Alpena counties.
Forecasters stress it is far too early to determine if our region will get hit with snow, rain, mixed precipitation or even nothing at all.

The brunt of the storm is expected to move into Southern California overnight and into Wednesday morning. A Flood Watch is in effect through late Tuesday for Ventura and Los Angeles counties, as well as the Malibu coast, where heavy showers and thunderstorms could cause flash flooding.
The storm coming to the East Coast could bring less snow or miss the region entirely, the National Weather Service said.
