New Jersey Devils goaltender Jacob Markstrom will be out 4-6 weeks with a knee injury. The Swede was injured in a 5-1 win over the Bruins on Wednesday.

The Devils recalled goaltender Isaac Poulter from AHL Utica on Friday, per a team release. He’ll serve as Jake Allen’s backup for the next four to six weeks after the team confirmed starter Jacob Markström sustained an MCL sprain in Wednesday’s game against the Bruins.

Allen stopped 29 of 32 shots in Saturday's 4-3 overtime win over the Canadiens. Allen has recorded back-to-back wins for the first time since late November, when he recorded two wins on Nov. 14 and Nov.
