The 41-year-old singer has faced a wave of criticism after singing a rendition of America the Beautiful as Donald Trump and JD Vance were sworn into office.

Carrie Underwood ‘s decision to sing at the inauguration on Jan. 20 came as a surprise to many of her country music fans. The 41-year-old artist steered clear of politics for most of her career, so the announcement was jarring to some of her followers because of Donald Trump ‘s divisive policies.
