CORTINA D’AMPEZZO, Italy (AP) — Sitting in the middle of the Cortina course following her second fall in four days at the resort where she once dominated, Lindsey Vonn slammed the snow angrily with her right pole.

Lindsey Vonn fell while on pace for a podium finish at a World Cup super-G on Sunday on the course that will host skiing at next year’s Milan-Cortina Olympics. She went down on her left hip coming around a gate midway down but appeared to avoid injury.

Lindsey Vonn, the legendary American alpine skier, experienced a minor fall during training before the World Cup competition in Cortina d'Ampezzo. Fortunately, there were no serious consequences, and the American skier will still participate in the event.
