Police are investigating after offensive graffiti was located on a home in Sydney's east and on a synagogue in Sydney's inner west overnight. New South Wales Premier Chris Minns has called these attacks monstrous and appalling.

In the latest incident, police said they were notified of graffiti on the synagogue, in the inner suburb of Newtown, early Saturday.
