The Chicago Sky continue to look for momentum, playing behind two of the most talented frontcourt members in the league. Chicago previously drafted Kamilla Cardoso and Angel Reese in the same class and the two have since been the team's anchor.

It's tough timing as Cardoso is coming off a career performance against the Sparks. But the Sky aren't alone: she’s one of many WNBA players temporarily departing for international duty.

The Sky will lose center Kamilla Cardoso while she plays for the Brazilian National Team during the 2025 FIBA AmeriCup.
