The Dallas Wings have traded guard DiJonai Carrington to the Minnesota Lynx for forward Diamond Miller, guard Karlie Samuelson and Minnesota’s 2027 second-round draft pick, the teams announced Sunday morning.

The WNBA-leading Minnesota Lynx have acquired DiJonai Carrington in a trade from Dallas. The Lynx on Sunday sent Diamond Miller, Karlie Samuelson and their second-round draft pick in 2027 to the Wings.

Days ahead of the 2025 WNBA trade deadline (Aug. 7 at 3 p.m. ET), the league-leading Minnesota Lynx made a big swing to try and bolster their title chances. Early on Sunday, the Lynx sent Diamond Miller, Karlie Samuelson and a 2027 second-round pick to the Dallas Wings for 2024 Most Improved Player DiJonai Carrington.
