Iga Swiatek reached the final of the ATP-WTA Cincinnati Open for the first time on Sunday, surging past Elena Rybakina 7-5, 6-3 to book a title clash with Jasmine Paolini.

Lindsay Davenport suggested during her match commentary that the Cincinnati Open scheduling favored Iga Swiatek more than Elena Rybakina, and she did not find it fair.

Iga Swiatek’s comeback victory against Elena Rybakina showcased how effective the Pole is on serve. Swiatek won 78 per cent of her first serve points, while also triumphing on 56 per cent of her second serve points. The Pole also saved three of the four break-points she faced on serve.
