The streaming service announced that “American Murder: Gabby Petito” premieres Feb. 17. “In 2021, Gabby Petito and Brian Laundrie went on a four-month road trip across the United States documenting their van life on social media. Only one of them returned,” Netflix wrote alongside the trailer on Facebook.

Scott Peterson, Laci’s husband, was convicted of the brutal murder. He maintains his innocence from prison. “American Murder: Laci Peterson” included an interview with Amber Frey, the woman with whom Scott was living a double life at the time of Laci’s disappearance. Frey was instrumental in building the case against Scott Peterson.
