The San Francisco 49ers started their training camp on July 23 in Santa Clara, California. Star tight end George Kittle has already joined the squad.

Purdy is not the first quarterback to work out in Nashville with Kittle. Ex-49ers play-caller C.J. Beathard is a regular visitor to the tight end’s compound. “It’s awesome,” Kittle said.

Kittle has been Purdy's top target since he became the starting quarterback. In the 2024 season, Purdy completed 65.9 percent of his passes for 3,864 yards, 20 touchdowns, and 12 interceptions.
