Wake Forest Police have suspended an active search for a carjacking suspect who ran into a wooded area near the Tyler Run subdivision.

A warning was issued by the town of Wake Forest at 4:13 p.m. about a carjacking suspect last seen on foot in the area of Durham Road and Tyler Run Drive.
