The Washington Elementary S.T.E.A.M. Magnet School uniform policy is in place to develop a positive learning environment that promotes school community spirit, encourages positive behavior, and ensures student safety.

Bio. for Ms. Rocio-Presently a Kindergarten teacher, over 20 years teaching science at the middle school level, taught adults for 10 years for the San Diego Continuing Education, and taught 8 years at the American Language Institute at San Diego State University.

My name is Ms. Hernandez and I teach third grade at Washington Elementary. I have also taught kindergarten, first grade and second grade. I have been a teacher at Washington for 13 years now.
