If Tesla is still not allowing buyout during or end of lease term for Model 3, I would say it's worse than buying. Before you dig any further, I will recommend learning basics of leasing first.

I just wanted my tires rotated a few weeks back by Tesla mobile service. The guy literally told me to go to discount tire or Bridgestone and they’ll do it for way less and get rebalancing.
