I would imagine this means that they are more open to pitches for dormant IPs but it has to be a really good pitch. Honestly, Dino Crisis would be a good break from RE but it just seems the RE machine will not stop anytime soon.

Nov 18, 2024 · Not particularly concerned because Capcom has "right sized" their smaller new bets like Kunitsu-Gami. They don't make big gambles; the biggest budgets are reserved for the biggest titles, and they're using remasters/ports on smaller titles that are showing success as well.

They have exclusives that would carry their sales and let them punch in the same weight class as the other console makers. Imagine a Megaman title with the same care and prep placed into it as the usual Zelda title.

Capcom makes plenty of great games but a lot of them aren't my thing these days, fromsoftware seemingly can't even make games with the most basic of accessibility features so I have 0 issues with them vanishing from earth.
