US 60 partially reopens after monster storm tears apart roadway near Superior

Flooding from heavy rainfall over the weekend eroded an embankment near the eastbound lane of US 60 near Miami. In some spots along US 60, floodwaters flowed above highway guardrails. Two locations between mileposts 241-242, west of Bloody Tanks Wash, were impacted most and are seen in this video. While roadway damage inspections occurred, crews worked to clear boulders, trees and debris from several miles of highway.
